Located in the Wittmore (awarded a MICHELIN Key) and tucked away in the city’s Gothic Quarter, Contraban boasts a somewhat secretive ambience. Its contemporary-style cooking, which it describes as being inspired by emotions and feelings (freedom, surprise, longing, frustration, etc.), is based around classical French cuisine. The varied menu includes some dishes to share, such as cod fritters with lime mayonnaise. The indoor terrace is incredibly charming and... they also offer brunch at weekends!
