The art deco lobby makes an impression with black-and-gold geometry, dramatic chandeliers, and seven domes that pay tribute to classical Islamic architecture. Meanwhile the rooms are handsomely understated, in sober dark colors with focused accents; the in-room comforts are predictably high-end, including Le Labo bath products. The entry-level rooms are already spacious, but the suites are where things expand to palatial proportions.
A lavish spa is present as a matter of course, as are a pair of restaurants: a Gatsby-inspired steakhouse called House of Grill and a southern Italian eatery by the name of Che Figata.
