Commanding a dominant position in the heart of this small hamlet, this historic restaurant — lovingly maintained through the years — has found renewed vigour since 2017 under a passionate and accomplished stewardship (here, fittingly, sommelier Simone’s christening was once celebrated). From the dining room and expansive terrace, one’s gaze sweeps across the surrounding landscape, and on the clearest days the vista extends even further, offering a panorama of considerable enchantment.
The kitchen remains faithful to tradition, yet interpreted with contemporary freshness in its presentations and through certain pairings that lend character to the offering. The wine list, too, is of excellent calibre, intelligently structured and rich in both breadth and depth, spanning Piedmont, Italy and beyond.
