This friendly restaurant done out in a modern style is to be found in a small boutique hotel. Depending on your table, you may be able to see into the open kitchen. The menu is built on classic foundations, with a new spin on classic dishes, eg "Winter edition bouillabaisse – Alpine prawns & premium local fish, Jerusalem artichoke, winter vegetables & sourdough toast" or "Confit char – cauliflower, potatoes, chives, beurre blanc & herring caviar". There are three menus to choose from, as well as à la carte dishes. Front-of-house staff ensure diners receive attentive service, with the chefs also lending a hand. The wine recommendations are also spot on; Austrian wines enjoy pride of place.
