Run by the same family since 1962, the establishment actually dates back to 1875: warm, elegant interiors complement lovely summer garden service offering glimpses of the lake. The kitchen draws primarily from Venetian traditions, with a nod to nearby Lake Garda, as in the marinated pike in carpione with polenta among the starters. To follow, we recommend the hand-pressed bigoli with guinea fowl salmì or the excellent meat tortellini; among the main courses, for those wishing to stay within the regional tradition, calf’s liver with onions, while a dedicated section of the menu is reserved for snail dishes, the house specialty.
