Set within an impressive Victorian hotel, this elegant restaurant is named after the industrialist-cum-MP the property was built for. Take in lovely views over the garden as you enjoy attractively presented dishes from either the simpler lunch menu or more ambitious à la carte. Herbs, fruit and vegetables are grown on the estate, then crafted into seasonally minded plates that incorporate more produce from the local area. The wine list offers some interesting English and local Welsh wines.
