Situated just a stone’s throw from the Parliament building, this elegant restaurant’s origins as a wine shop are visible in the many wine bottles that line the walls of the dining room. Today, the restaurant offers elegant cuisine, divided into two tasting menus, one more traditional and the other more adventurous, as well as an à la carte menu featuring creative dishes such as the “Senza spaghetto alle vongole” and well-executed dishes inspired by the Campania region.
Chef Gallo reveals a sure hand and remarkable skill in making the most of entirely plant-based ingredients, from which he conjures up interesting flavours and textures. There is a wide selection of wines by the glass, while bottled wines can be chosen directly from the wine shop’s shelves. At the entrance, there is a bistro that is also open for lunch, offering simpler dishes in an informal setting.
