At the Häfliger family's restaurant, the aim is to unite the new with the tried and tested. This principle is reflected both in the property itself, whose period architecture is complemented by elegant modern accents to create a welcoming setting, and the work of the team led by chef-patron Oliver Häfliger, who represents the fourth generation at the helm. He wins over diners with traditional regional and seasonal dishes that are skilfully crafted and brimming with flavour. His wife, Stefania Martinelli, presides over the attentive and well-organised waitstaff. The à la carte options, daily specials and seasonal or surprise set menus all delight in equal measure. The wine list is also well worth exploring – it includes bottles ranging from small formats to double magnums and features some big names. This place even has its own excellent spring water!
