On the Quai de Paludate, one wing of Château Descas houses this contemporary restaurant with polished concrete floors and walls with arches that are characteristic of Bordeaux. In an ambience fostered by dim lighting and a soundtrack of electronic music, the dishes of chef Christophe Girardot (previously at Paradoxe in Cenon) come together beautifully, a case in point being his melt-in-the-mouth veal chuck, herb gnocchi and full-bodied meat jus.
