The restaurant, named after the Italian word for ‘outbuilding’, is housed in a refurbished storehouse, once a dressmaking room at a girls’ finishing school, beside a retro-style building. The original ceiling and beams lend the space a stately ambience. The chef, who honed his skills in several regions of Italy, pays special reverence to local cuisines. Using techniques suited to the climate of each season, he interprets Italian culinary lore with a modern sensibility.
