An interesting location! The restaurant run by the partnership of chef-patron Mathias Apelt and Britta Künzl is housed in the canoe club and has a cool, pared-back design with an urban boathouse feel. There is also a wonderful view of the fjord – needless to say, a spot on the terrace is a tempting prospect. The open kitchen serves Nordic-inspired and regionally based soul food – appealing dishes include "pasture-raised beef tartare, cauliflower, jalapeño & mole" or "winter cod, black pudding, pointed cabbage, apple & fermented chips". Tip: You can also book the Chef's Table – here, a five-course set menu is served to parties of up to six diners, who can enjoy a view of the kitchen.
