When she first burst onto Rome’s food scene 20 years ago with her bright pink hair, everyone told Cristina Bowerman she’d never earn the MICHELIN seal of approval because of her unconventional style. Today, the only female chef in Italy’s capital ever to have a MICHELIN-Starred restaurant, Glass Hostaria, she remains committed to her vision of a more inclusive, exciting and rule-breaking Roman food industry. Restaurant Harutaka is newly awarded Three MICHELIN Stars. One restaurant newly receives Two MICHELIN Stars, and 16 restaurants are recognised with One MICHELIN Star. The MICHELIN Green Star highlights the sustainable commitment of one new establishment. Two Special Awards are presented: the MICHELIN Mentor Chef and the MICHELIN Service Award.

A total of 111 restaurants are recommended, including 15 in İzmir and 19 in Bodrum. 2 restaurants in Bodrum and 3 restaurants in İzmir are awarded One MICHELIN Star. 2 new establishments are also honored in İstanbul. 4 new committed restaurants receive the MICHELIN Green Star. A new MICHELIN Award is presented: the MICHELIN Sommelier Award.
