Chef Fabio Trabocchi celebrates the flavors of Spain in this stylish, resort-chic restaurant at the Wharf. With coastal blues and whites, polished brass fixtures and large windows overlooking the Potomac, the yawning space has room for everybody. The cooking, meanwhile, delivers in spades, bringing finesse and refinement to classics like Andalucian garlic shrimp studded with croutons, and Spanish tortilla lined with caramelized onions. Barely touched or simply prepared, beautifully presented fish are a highlight, alongside seasonal soups and hearty paellas. The beverage program is equally impressive, featuring an extensive vermouth selection as well as a superb wine list highlighting gems and superstars from across Spain.
