The location here is truly amazing, within the grounds of Třeboň’s wonderfully restored castle, which you should definitely explore before or after your meal (there are shops, cafés etc). Or soak up the peace and quiet at the lake as you take in the view. The restaurant specialises in fish – try the carp chips (kapří hranolky) with mushroom and dill sauce, for which they are famous. Some of the fish on the menu come from the lake. The service is attentive and friendly. In winter you can sit in the elegant ‘Šupinka’, in summer the somewhat simpler ‘Šupina’ opposite is open - this is where the larger of the two terraces is located. Fish lovers will certainly get their fill here – but there is also lamb or game. They also offer apartmens to stay overnight.
