Tafeltje Rond enjoys something of a reputation as a romantic venue. Parisian chic defines this brasserie which sports parquet floors, elegantly laid tables, a black and white colour scheme and tableware that is as classy as the wine list and chef Slangen’s polished Gallic score. Old school classics like seabass in a salt crust, tournedos Rossini and hop shoots in a divine hollandaise sauce are rich in the distinctive flavours of yesteryear and the ethereal profiteroles filled with rich vanilla ice cream and smothered in intense dark chocolate are to die for! Don’t hesitate to give the chef your feedback directly as he loves popping out of the kitchen to add a final touch to dishes and say hi to his guests. Set menu at lunchtime only; à la carte in the evening.
