Restaurant Casa Rios embarks on a new chapter in Pinheiros, one of São Paulo's most lively and vibrant neighbourhoods. The charming venue, housed in a character-filled property whose verdant, plant-covered façade never fails to catch the eye, continues to have chef Rodrigo Aguiar at the helm of the kitchen. The kitchen continues to champion the values of traditional Brazilian gastronomy, with the essence of embers and smoked flavours serving as the guiding thread throughout; fittingly, the team here remains steadfast in their belief that fire, too, is an ingredient. The concept, which aims to be more dynamic and playful, now places an even greater focus on raw ingredients and the producers behind them. The à la carte menu — featuring dishes such as Beans, pork and kale, or Fusilli with Berkshire pork cheek shin, requeijão, a smooth Brazilian cream cheese, and Tahiti lime — is complemented by a set lunch menu on Friday afternoons.
