Siblings Antonio and Elvira uphold a family tradition which, since the 1960s, has been part of a much longer history, that of the simple wine shop which occupied these premises immediately after the Great War. For generations, the Previdi family has been a benchmark for authentic, fragrant and delicious Emilian cuisine, prepared — as they like to recall — “without revisiting it, whenever possible”.
Fresh, homemade pasta is a real highlight, starting with the legendary pumpkin tortelli – made famous in part by the restaurant’s proximity to the province of Mantua – served with a savoury meat sauce. The signature dish, however, is roast guinea fowl, served on a bed of seasonal salad and accompanied by tender roast potatoes, in the truest family tradition.
The wine selection is also of the highest standard, comprising around 400 labels and reflecting a carefully considered choice that complements the dishes on the menu.
