Chef Davine grabs your attention right from the start with her open kitchen positioned bang in the heart of this cosy restaurant, stylishly decked in works of art. Meticulous Davine works with an equally spot on partner, Nicholas, in the front of house. The set menu (whose dishes are also available à la carte) is founded on premium produce and suave international twists. An example of her elegant, confident cooking: she jazzes up lobster by lacquering it with a boiled bisque paired with Timut pepper and a combava zest. Named after the goddess of pleasure and sensuality, Hēdonē bears the hallmark of an enthusiastic couple.
