You don’t need to go to a Greek island to find idyllic beaches and endless sea views, as proved by Mandola Rosa, which occupies a picturesque spot on the mainland in the Peloponnese region. Set on a 2km long stretch of sand and surrounded by lush forest, the hotel’s 25 villas and 20 suites look towards the Ionian Sea and feature calming interiors dressed in immaculate white and chic neutrals, and with huge windows to make the most of the view. In the spa the large pool is flanked by Ionian columns reminiscent of a classic Greek temple, and there’s several plunge and whirlpools, saunas and steam rooms and of course beauty treatments to while away a whole afternoon. Kids are taken care of with a number of sports, activities and an aquapark, and dining options range from Greek cuisine at a beachside taverna to Mediterranean gastronomic dining with a sunset sea view.
