If Greek-island luxury hospitality sometimes feels formulaic, it’s because the formula is just about perfect: luxe accommodations, ocean views, Mediterranean flavors, and an atmosphere that’s laid all the way back. The best hotels in the genre excel because of the details, and in the case of Domes White Coast Milos it might be the modernist simplicity of the design that sets it apart, above all else; it looks fantastic, and it’s got everything else taken care of, from the private pools that come with each unit to the open-air restaurant on the terrace overlooking the ever-impressive Aegean seascape.
The views here are nothing short of extraordinary; the Sea View units look out over a 180-degree coastal panorama, and the public spaces are similarly well endowed. The en-suite plunge pools are supplemented by a central swimming pool, and the beach lies just a few minutes’ walk away. Meanwhile the restaurant is sister to the highly regarded Makris Athens.
