Traditional Elegance & Lively
The Rispoli family has been part of Positano's story since 1916, when Salvatore and Carolina returned from New York, where their grocery store had drawn a clientele of actors and entertainers, to open what would become one of the Amalfi Coast's most enduring addresses. The rooms are classic and bright, with coral-motif textiles and balconies looking straight out over the sea and the stacked pastel town below. The restaurant has fed generations of visitors; Bacchus's bar above does cocktails with one of the better views on the coast.
