The small seaside village of Võsu sits 80km east of Tallinn, inside the Lahemaa National Park, and its pine forests and coastal scenery draw those in the know. Also worth a visit here is this lime-green clapboard house, which boasts smart apartments – the perfect spot to base yourself – and a fashionable New England style restaurant. The room comes with fleece-covered chairs and cosy cushions, while the large terrace more than doubles its size. The menu may be concise, but dishes are vibrant and full of flavour, and there’s always something to appeal, be it elk dumplings or butter chicken schnitzel.
