Local ingredients (Puy green lentils, Grazac snails, free - range guinea fowl etc) are transformed into appetising meals by the chef. The food is good and hearty, as well as carefully prepared. The cheese trolley, which includes lots of cheeses from Auvergne, is an added bonus. It is all very appealing, not least the very well - appointed rooms.
