Don’t let the rustic outward appearance of Braccialieri give you the wrong idea. Whilst it exemplifies slow living, or “eco glamping,” if you choose one of the six tented villas in the olive grove, the clue is in the name “luxury resort” — Braccialieri is the modern-luxe version of Sicilian country living, with high-end furniture and décor by well-known Italian designers alongside authentic old-world details.
The three suites in the main house are a step up from their tented counterparts when it comes to space, but in truth there’s nothing less than luxe about the eco-villas. Anywhere you stay, you’re treated to the same convivial atmosphere. By day, guests gather around the unique red-and-white checkerboard pool, and in the evenings dinner is served at Dodici Zappe, housed in the old mill, which combines modern culinary artistry with unpretentious Sicilian tradition.
