In the heart of Ciutadella's old town, Can Sastre has been in the Sastre family since long before it became a hotel in 2018, the building dating to the 17th century. The backstory is hard to top: the family ran La Sin Nombre, a pastry shop founded in 1862, from the same premises for four generations. The original display case, candy jars, and vintage bicycles are still there at reception. At one end, there are compact 18-square-metre double rooms; at the other, the Suite Sant Jeroni with its own terrace. The breakfast: poached eggs, organic omelets, family pastry recipes, is worth getting up for alone.
