Just outside Porto-Vecchio on the road to Palombaggia’s beaches, Mariosa is a family project built on the founders’ own land. The hotel’s 25 rooms and suites span two low-slung buildings, blending aged wood, Corsican stone, and pale, beachy tones. Most open to sea or garden views, with freestanding bathtubs and private terraces. A second house, a short walk uphill, holds the more secluded suites. While the look is contemporary, the mood stays informal, part Mediterranean escape, part modern inn, rooted in hospitality passed down through generations.
