On the seafront of Gölköy Bay, Flamm has been doing the same thing since 2012, at its own pace, without reinventing itself. Eighteen rooms and suites sit among date palms and bougainvillea, white walls and parquet floors keeping things grounded while the suites open directly onto the beach. Family-owned from the start, it has built the kind of loyal following that only comes from staff who actually remember their guests. The kitchen draws from the Aegean, relaxed at lunch on the sand, more sophisticated come evening, with cocktails built on house-made syrups and whatever the local market offers that week.
