This restaurant occupies the ‘piano nobile’ of the Casa Fontcuberta, an aristocratic property in the centre of town with a striking 19th-century decor and scenes of local life and customs depicted on 18th-century frescoes on its walls. The chef at the helm, Nicolau Roger, opts for a contemporary signature cuisine, with strong Catalan roots, which extols the local seasonal produce, bringing its dishes to diners through a complete à la carte where the fish section and rice dishes for two stand out and several menus (Fontcuberta, El pica-pica del VIA and Degustación del Nico).
