This chic and modern restaurant has found the perfect home within the pretty half-timbered building of the long-established Birkenfelder Hof. It is an ideal setting for "casual dining". The atmosphere is also suitably relaxed, the waitstaff are experienced and friendly, and the delicious seasonal modern cuisine, which draws on French, Mediterranean and regional influences, incorporates the occasional Asian touch. The successful synthesis of different culinary styles is evident in dishes such as "Breton monkfish, dashi beurre blanc, pak choi, Sardinian pasta, tomato and pine nut vinaigrette". Classics such as roast beef, burgers (Tue-Wed only) and Wiener schnitzel (Thu only) are also tempting. It is pleasant to dine al fresco on the beautifully landscaped terrace.
