This 70-year-old eatery in a vintage low-rise block is near the historic sights of Dusit district. Now run by the family's fourth generation, it specialises in braised beef, tongue beef and hotpot – served with or without soup and a selection of noodles. The light brown broth is smooth, aromatic and packed with carefully braised meat. Order the mixed braised beef with offal and no noodles for the full effect. Arrive early for lunch as it gets busy.
