Chef-Owner Alexis Gauthier’s eponymous restaurant occupies a handsome Regency townhouse in the heart of Soho. You ring the doorbell for entry, which adds to the sense of being in the know; inside there are dining rooms on two of the floors. Vegan restaurants are rarely this formal and so your fellow guests are often here to celebrate a special occasion. The tasting menus offer a range of appealing seasonal constructions, all underpinned by the chef's classical French background, like potato dauphinois with creamed morels or white asparagus with caramelised chicory.
