This restaurant is a true classic in Caldas da Rainha and is situated right in the city centre. The establishment is run by a couple: Chef Maria João, in charge of the kitchen, and Norberto Fidalgo, who ensures things run smoothly in the dining room. Inspired by traditional Italian cooking, the offering is prepared with quality, seasonal and locally sourced products. The menu features pasta dishes, risottos, fish, seafood, meat, pizzas... including highlights such as the appetising roasted figs with melted goat’s cheese and a hint of basil pesto. In the main courses section, there’s the tasty gratinéed scallop in muscatel sauce served with risotto, and to finish, raspberries accompanied by a delicate flambéed cream and lemon sorbet.
