At the elegant restaurant of Hotel Balm both the service and Beat Stofer's cuisine have a classical feel. He cooks unpretentious fare using excellent ingredients. Choose between the three- to five-course "Amuse Bouche Menu" or order from the à la carte selection. Highlights include classics such as "Chateaubriand in two courses" (served for two or more) or Swiss Black Angus simmered beef terrine with apple, mustard and horseradish. There is also a well-curated wine list. In good weather, the terrace is a fabulous spot from which to enjoy the mountain views. This place is always busy, so be sure to book well in advance!
