It is hardly surprising that this restaurant is so popular. As well as charming and attentive service, diners are drawn by the regionally influenced cuisine conjured up by chef-patron Sven Molitor. Made using carefully selected ingredients, his dishes reveal talent and good craftsmanship. They are down-to-earth, but also show a certain finesse here and there. On the menu, for example, the delicious spinach and cheese dumplings will whet your appetite. The likeable traditional family-run hotel Die Post offers well-kept, contemporary guestrooms for overnight stays – an ideal base for exploring the beautiful surroundings of the village, which is located in the Meerfelder Maar volcanic crater.
