This French brasserie occupies a unique property in Botafogo dating back to 1775 and has established itself as a trusted option for those who enjoy authentic Gallic cuisine. Under the management of French owner Gregoire Fortat, La Villa features a simple decor, high ceilings, outdoor tables and a pleasant and hospitable ambience. The menu here is centred around traditional French bistro fare with an added Brazilian touch. The experience begins with a delicious pâté de champagne served with bread baked on the premises, followed by the classic onion soup, and an authentic duck cassoulet. On Sundays, there’s also a French-Brazilian barbecue including an impressive array of fish and seafood.
