Bib Gourmand Announcement
The Bib Gourmand selection will be announced one week prior to the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony, on Thursday, 12 March 2026, further heightening excitement for the occasion. This cherished distinction highlights restaurants offering ‘good quality, good value cooking’; the selection will be released via a dedicated press announcement and featured on the MICHELIN Guide’s official website and mobile app.
The MICHELIN Guide upholds its legacy as the world’s preeminent culinary authority by adhering to a rigorous and independent evaluation framework. Every establishment is assessed by anonymous MICHELIN inspectors who evaluate solely the quality of the dishes.
All establishments are chosen according to the universal five criteria:
• Quality of the ingredients used
• Mastery of cooking and culinary techniques
• Harmony of flavours
• The expression of chef’s personality in the cuisine
• Consistency both over time and across the entire menu
*Location, décor, service, and available facilities are not part of the selection criteria, but can be highlighted if of particular interest.
