This hotel restaurant combines Chinese architectural motifs with Jiangnan-themed art and landscaping for a relaxed, serene feel. The menu is based on Jiangsu traditions, with uniquely Changzhou DNA and a few Cantonese dishes. Their rich, buttery Zhaiqiao braised goose has a robust meaty flavour; the steamed buns filled with pork, crab roe and crabmeat explode with umami. For starch, try the dried radish fried rice with shepherd's purse.
