A landmark occasion: in 2026, the fourth generation celebrated one hundred years of history of this establishment, also with its inclusion in the Guide. The venture was first set in motion by Annunciata in Cittanova, before closing in 2002 and reopening four years later at its present address, directly opposite the magnificent Abbey of Nonantola, taking on the name that had long served as its founder’s nickname: Nunziadêina. Since then, the common thread has remained the same: the delicacies and indulgent treats of Emilia-Romagna.
The dining rooms are homely, yet attentive to detail; fresh flowers on every table lend a pleasing touch, while a fire crackling at the back of the room offers a foretaste of one of the house’s specialities, charcoal grilled meat. Alongside this, there is always fresh pasta, outstanding charcuterie and a wealth of traditional recipes, all rounded off by the customary irresistible dessert trolley. An impressive wine list completes the offering. A truly deserving venue!
