This small restaurant with a discreet red-brick façade has its fair share of regulars. A handful of tables and a counter surrounding the kitchen form the simple setting in which self-taught chef Hiroshi Kitano cooks up ingredient-led Japanese bistronomy. Sushi and sashimi, crispy karaage with yuzu mayonnaise, chirashi, a delicious take on mazemen made with duck – and the star of the show, uni carbonara (wheat noodles with sea urchin cream and pecorino). A delightful little place.
