A little off the beaten track, this inn is delightfully cosy with its wood-panelled interior. The chef-patron, who hails from South Tyrol, serves up classic cuisine with a modern twist, making a point of working with regional produce. There is a four-course set menu, which can be extended with additional dishes up to the nine-course "Full Story". A vegetarian version is also available. Alternatively, you can dine à la carte. The attentive front-of-house team includes the chef's significant other, a trained sommelier – the wine cellar boasts over 800 labels. There are a few attractive guestrooms available for overnight stays.
