This charming old Rhine Valley building dating back to 1639 is quite something! A Dornbirn landmark right on the Marktplatz (still the market square), it has been sensitively renovated and restored, and now boasts five really beautiful historical rooms. Delicious Austrian cuisine with Mediterranean influences is on the menu – the Wiener schnitzel and fried chicken are as appetising as the pickled char with radish and rhubarb-wild garlic vinaigrette. The spacious terrace, shaded by parasols, is also inviting.
