Modern cuisine with a nod to Eastern Europe is the enticing concept brought to life here by this chef-owner couple, who have put down roots here with this restaurant. Their four- to six-course set menu also comes in a vegan variant. Alternatively, you can pick and choose individual dishes from the set menu (eg "Kwasnica – sauerkraut soup, potato, lamb, caraway, mint" or "Manti – dumplings, dill, sour cream, veal, beef"). They also serve German classics, such as Zwiebelrostbraten (braised beef with onions and gravy) or beef roulade. The decor is sleek and modern – wine bottles serving as pretty decorations add to the inviting atmosphere. Friendly and professional service is provided by a delightful team, who will also guide you through the excellent wine options. In summer, a terrace is set up out front. The Weinkeller and Kaminzimmer are available for private hire. Plus, there is a cookery school. Tip: It is easy to get here from the city centre by tram.
