Tobalá brings Oaxacan-inspired cooking and a focused mezcal and cocktail program to Riverdale. The dining room is modern and dimly lit, with clay masks, pottery and design elements that nod to Oaxaca without overt theming. House-made blue and yellow corn tortillas are served with salsa verde and chile de arbol, anchoring a menu built around regional dishes.
