In the jungle above Ahangama on Sri Lanka's southern coast, Sola is an eight-suite boutique hotel on three acres of working estate: coconut trees, a tea plantation, cinnamon, and a growing collection of tropical fruit trees planted since 2021. Purple-faced langur monkeys, peacocks, and civets share the property. Rooms have panoramic glass, open-air showers, and minimalist interiors. The open-air restaurant Mali cooks from the estate's own harvest and local sourcing. A 15-meter infinity pool is at the heart of the property, with surf spots and yoga sessions available for those who want more.
