Stella Island isn’t an island, although it does sit on the coastline of Crete, but the collection of lagoon pools weaved around the adults-only resort might make you feel like you’re on one. The abundance of water means all the rooms have a blue pool view, and some, including the overwater bungalows and the villa, come with a swim up option for a private deck with direct pool access. When not swimming there are activities such as padel, cycling, and an outdoor gym. Post-work out the Anassa spa is just the tonic, home to a sauna, Jacuzzi, another pool, and Elemis beauty treatments. There's one bar, six restaurants, including a Greek-style taverna, a Mexican fusion cuisine and a steakhouse, and the option to go all-inclusive.
