A respect for this nature underpins the resort, starting with the seven villas that have been sustainably crafted from local woods by local artisans and dressed with handwoven wool rugs and textiles weaved in nearby villages. Restaurant Tsas is set withing Dolkhar’s apple and apricot orchard and follows the same principles, serving a hyper seasonal menu that highlights produce from the resort’s own kitchen garden. Similarly, the spa eschews the usual beauty and anti-aging treatments in favour of deeper relaxation through practices such as meditation and treatments that are rooted in indigenous ingredients and traditions.
