Among the favourites are the large clams and dried, salted ichiyaboshi fish. Seasonal delicacies like bamboo shoots and mushrooms are also available. The proprietress expertly handles the grilling duties, carefully tending to the charcoal fire. ‘Yamato’ is the name of her family's river fish shop, serving as the inspiration for the owner's charcoal cooking.
