Set up in what was formerly the gardener's house on a historical country estate, this is the trendy restaurant-bar concept of the Düster and Schneider restaurateur and winemaking families. Christoph Düster's cuisine is made up of what could be described as "modernised classics". The premium quality of the ingredients is evident in dishes such as "pizokel (buckwheat dumplings), Périgord truffle, spinach, hazelnut" or "guinea fowl, sherry, parsley root, Andengold potato". The atmosphere is pleasingly laid-back and casual, not least thanks to the easy-going, attentive and ever-present service under the direction of wine expert Christoph Schneider, who recommends wines from a selection of over 500 labels to accompany the four-course set menu. In case you were wondering, the name of the restaurant is derived from the regional "GUPI" wines ("GUtedel" and "PInot").
