Set against a stunning mountain backdrop, the multifaceted Kulturhof encompasses a hotel and restaurant, event facilities and cultural offerings. The modern timber architecture reflects the beautiful surrounding nature of Berchtesgaden. In the fine dining restaurant, too, pale wood and clean lines characterise the interior, and large windows make for a bright and airy feel. Chef Zsolt Fodor, who hails from Hungary, uses top-notch ingredients to cook up sophisticated, flavourful dishes in the form of a pair of astutely composed six- or eight-course set menu (one is vegetarian).
