A potent taste of Portugal is the order of the day at this pulsating restaurant on Fitzrovia’s restaurant-dense Charlotte Street. Come on a busy evening and soak up the atmosphere emanating from both your fellow diners and the open kitchen in full flight. The menu lists the likes of Ibérico suckling pig and the signature ‘amêijoas à bulhão pato’ clams, while for dessert don’t overlook the intriguingly named ‘toucinho do céu’ (‘bacon from heaven’), which is in fact a terrific almond tart.
